Across the country votes are being cast for many different offices including right here at BMS! These brave, thoughtful students are running for positions in student government. Candidates had to get signatures from Principal Howard and four faculty members and write speeches sharing their ideas and expertise with voters aka fellow students. Candidates were asked to consider which position suited them best (President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer), if they had the time to commit to it, whether they thought that could do a good job, and what plan they have to improve the school and culture. Speeches were delivered to the entire student body on Monday afternoon and votes will be cast today, Election Day 2017. Results will be announced during announcement on Wednesday, November 8.
